Respecting and supporting children
In my opinion the most important element of teaching mathematics is to reveal the beauty and the clarity of the topic when with respect to the study speed of an individual scholar. I believe in believing in every student, that everyone owns the potential to understand and do the maths exposed to him or her. I strongly believe that the aim of teaching is to provide each child with skill-sets and good sense to thrive and function in the general public. Therefore, I want to deal with my learners with respect as well as to be just as encouraging as possible in the education process while challenging them to investigate new ways of thinking and new thoughts and laws. I will take into account every single student's needs reasonably of what is possible and what solutions are there in the class. I will anticipate to put in as much or more time and effort put into the school day as I anticipate from my learners. I will acknowledge that I need as much to grasp each year as my scholars, and I will be flexible enough to receive critique and open to new ways of teaching in an effort to grasp each of the learning styles.
Mentoring and learning together
I see my function at this spot as an expert, much likewise their real school teachers are, but also as an extra source of encouragement and assistance. My position is that of an adviser simply because I don't teach the whole day day of lessons like my grand teacher does, therefore, I will be a resource the scholars may use to obtain additional assistance as well as can count on when it comes to support. My function is also that of a scholar, so I see myself as a prolongation of my learners, I am learning with them what it really means to be a successful maths tutor.
No extra worksheets
Compared to different tutoring institutions in Trott Park, at the time of the normal academic year, I actually work with the content that the student has in his/her classroom. This means I don't request that students do additional worksheets and assignments which are not really part of the student's maths program, still, instead, I coach the scholar in places of his/her maths class that may be actually difficult like clarity and intensity of understanding, application of concepts, and test-taking strategies. Everything I do is connected directly to assisting the scholar to better perceive the material from the maths class she/he is having and to improve the grade in that subject.
